Exhibition: ‘Prisoners or patients? Criminal insanity in Victorian Scotland’ (Edinburgh, August 2019)

The exhibition ‘Prisoners or patients? Criminal insanity in Victorian Scotland’ could be of interest to h-madness readers. It explores the Criminal Lunatic Department of Perth Prison, which was the Scottish Broadmoor until after WW2, and the lives, crimes, and recovery of 9 men and woman. This exhibition is part of the Fringe Festival in Edingburgh.

When: 1st of August 2019 until the end of the month.

Location: The National Records for Scotland, Edinburgh, EH1 1YY, Scotland.

Admission: free and there is a program of talks (also free, but ticketed).
