Call for Papers — History of Intellectual Culture (HIC)

History of Intellectual Culture. International Yearbook of Knowledge and Society invites submissions for Volume 6 (2027).

Proposals are welcome for contributions across the three sections:

Section I welcomes individual papers within HIC’s general scope.
Section II is a thematic section bringing together 4–5 articles around a shared topic.
Section III includes broader contributions such as review essays, conversations, and theoretical or methodological pieces.

The journal focuses on the modern period (from the long nineteenth century onwards) and encourages transatlantic and interdisciplinary approaches to the history of knowledge.
