Dear Hmadness readers, we are pleased to announce a call for contributions for an edited book on the intersections between psychiatry, violence, and death. This interdisciplinary volume aims to dissect the systemic relationships among psychiatry, violence, and death, utilizing perspectives from historical, philosophical, empirical, postcolonial, and Mad/disability studies. Contributions from scholars across various disciplines, including history, sociology, psychology, philosophy, and critical theory, are welcome. Submissions can take the form of research articles, case studies, theoretical analyses, or interdisciplinary dialogues.
