Please join us on October 1, 1:15-2:45pm EST, for the next Richardson Seminar on the History of Psychiatry. We will be joined by Zachary Samalin, Ph.D., Associate Professor of English at New York University, for a presentation titled “The Child and Its Institutions: Thinking with Susan Isaacs, from Malting House to the Controversial Discussions.” Professor Samalin is the author of The Masses are Revolting: Victorian Culture and the Political Aesthetics of Disgust (Cornell University Press, 2021).
